Connectivity and integration
An examination is only valuable if its result can be passed on quickly. MyLab systems store and share data in the standards required by hospital IT systems, while the MyLab Desk workstation allows an examination to be reviewed and reported away from the scanning room.

Image and clip management
MyLab platforms support the complete imaging data workflow: management of images and clips from the examination, archiving to storage media, and export of multimedia files in the Windows standard and in DICOM format.
- Complete, integrated management of images and clips from the examination
- Data archiving to storage media: network folder, CD, USB memory stick
- Export of multimedia files in the Windows standard and in DICOM format
- Automatic sending of examinations to the PACS system

MyLab Desk — reviewing and reporting examinations away from the system
MyLab Desk is a modular set of digital tools for displaying, sharing, reviewing and processing ultrasound images. It allows an examination to be viewed offline, without occupying the system in the scanning room.
An extensive measurement package, complemented by optional tools and functions, simplifies the workflow and makes it possible to report an examination from a computer. Interpretation of the images and measurements remains with an experienced specialist — the software supports the diagnosis.
MyLab Desk workstation
- Easy to Use — straightforward operation
- Easy Access — easy access to examination material
- Multi Connection — support for multiple connections
- Multi View — simultaneous preview of several images
MyLab Desk is Medical Device Software intended for importing single frames, video clips and reports from MyLab platform systems.
DICOM and IHE
Esaote systems communicate in the DICOM standard and implement IHE integration profiles. This is a prerequisite for connecting a device to the PACS, RIS and HIS systems in a facility — from retrieving the worklist through to sending the examination back to the archive.
The range of supported DICOM services depends on the model and its configuration. The specifications of individual systems list, among others:
- DICOM Storage — saving examinations to the archive
- DICOM Worklist — retrieving the patient worklist
- DICOM MPPS — reporting the progress status of an examination
- DICOM Query/Retrieve — searching for and retrieving examinations from the archive
- DICOM Print — printing on a DICOM printer
DICOM Conformance Statement and IHE Integration Statement
The manufacturer publishes DICOM Conformance Statement (DCS) and IHE Integration Statement documents for its systems in PDF format. They are issued separately for successive MyLab platforms and for magnetic resonance imaging systems, and they describe the exact range of supported services and roles in DICOM communication. The list covers current releases — documentation for older software versions and for discontinued models is ordered separately.
A facility's IT department and tender specifications usually require the DCS for a specific model and software version. Please contact KOSMED in this matter — the system name and the software version are needed.
Technologies and functions depend on the system and its configuration, and specifications are subject to change. It is worth confirming the connectivity scope for a specific configuration before ordering.
