MyLab™Sigma is Esaote's latest-generation portable ultrasound system. This efficient, portable, multidisciplinary unit allows ultrasound examinations to be performed where they were not previously available, providing the comfort of effective and easy diagnostics.

An innovative top-class ultrasound system capable of meeting the needs of the most demanding users. The system architecture makes it possible to use the most advanced technologies and functions available in stationary systems, making the portable MyLab™Sigma ultrasound system fully versatile.

Thanks to its high imaging performance, MyLab™Sigma meets the most demanding expectations, addressing a wide variety of clinical needs.

Compactness and ergonomic shape

Ergonomic design, comfortable and easy to operate, a clear user interface, a high-resolution monitor, and a rich selection of applications and modules ensure fast and accurate work. User- and environment-friendly solutions — such as silent operation combined with low energy demand — improve the comfort of long-term work.

The portable ultrasound system MyLab™Sigma has been manufactured in line with Esaote's philosophy of ecological responsibility, which assumes producing and operating the device in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • A latest-generation, rotating 15.6" digital LCD monitor with high resolution and a special coating that improves contrast, an HDMI port for connecting an external screen
  • digital beamformer, variable focusing, independent digital delay lines
  • up to 8 focal zones when transmitting the ultrasound beam

  • B-Mode (2D), M-Mode imaging
  • "Cine loop" closed-loop memory
  • scanning depth up to 41 cm
  • a wide selection of settings and applications (depending on the options and scope of examinations chosen by the Customer)
  • measurement software together with calculation packages
  • image magnification (ZOOM) in real time and on a frozen image without loss of resolution
  • the ability to define custom settings — so-called "presets" — more than 250
  • an extensive patient database with recording and playback of images and sequences
  • the ability to attach an image to the examination report, as well as the ability to change the order of images in the report
  • the ability to print examination reports directly from the system
  • software enabling the system to work in networks and to archive images in formats compatible with PC formats
  • the ability to export images and reports over the LAN
  • an internal archiving system on the hard drive, DVD, and USB for handling Flash-type memory
  • the ability to connect an external USB hard drive, the ability to record on removable media: CD, DVD, Pen Drive, the ability to connect thermal, inkjet, and laser printers
  • 2 active imaging transducer connectors, the ability to connect non-imaging probes (so-called pencil probes), 2 active imaging transducer connectors
  • a high-quality touchscreen allows for clear visualization of all parameters dependent on the mode selected by the User, as well as easy modification of these parameters
