e-SPADES — artificial intelligence in magnetic resonance imaging

e-SPADES is Esaote's technology platform bringing artificial intelligence to magnetic resonance imaging systems. It consists of two algorithms: HyperClarity, which improves image quality, and HyperSpeed, which shortens acquisition time.

e-SPADES: HyperClarity and HyperSpeed

Esaote brings artificial intelligence to its magnetic resonance imaging systems as a fully integrated and tailored solution. The e-SPADES platform combines advanced hardware with software algorithms — HyperClarity and HyperSpeed. The result is high image quality with a considerably shorter examination time.

e-SPADES works at the data acquisition and reconstruction stages. HyperSpeed accelerates acquisition, while HyperClarity, applied to the reconstructed image, raises the resolution and the overall image quality. The algorithms are integrated directly into the system and run on the device, which translates into speed of operation and a smooth workflow.

HyperClarity

HyperClarity is based on SwiftMR™, a trademark of AIRS Medical Inc. It is an integrated feature that markedly improves image quality: it increases resolution and reduces noise. For the clinician this means a tool that supports the reproducibility of clinical results. HyperClarity opens a new chapter in the development of Esaote systems.

HyperSpeed

HyperSpeed is an algorithm that shortens scanning time. In doing so, it preserves full image information and detail as well as consistent examination quality. This solution based on artificial intelligence saves up to 60% of the time, which streamlines the course of MRI examinations, improves the patient experience and increases the throughput of the imaging unit.
