
eXP Technologies — the MRI imaging software suite
Esaote eXP is an imaging software suite for magnetic resonance imaging that combines advanced methods of data acquisition and reconstruction. It shortens examination times, improves image quality and opens up new clinical applications.

eXP is the result of work by Esaote's research and development department, carried out with the growing technical demands of modern medicine in mind. Combining advanced acquisition and reconstruction methods considerably improves magnetic resonance examinations: it shortens scan times and raises image quality.

Sequences
Sequences are the heart of magnetic resonance imaging. Esaote has designed them in-house from the very beginning, which makes it possible to control image quality at its source. The suite comprises the SPED, MAR and 3D Iso sequences. How they work is described on a separate page.

Applications
Advanced applications provide information that goes beyond a standard examination and widen diagnostic possibilities. The suite includes Q-Spine and True-Motion. The scope of each one is presented on a separate page.

Acquisition methods
Acquisition methods serve to organise the work of the imaging suite and increase its throughput without compromising image quality. They include SpeedUp, TR Reduction and Elliptical K Space. The operating principle of each method is discussed on a separate page.
Operation
