eXP — user experience
Esaote places great emphasis on how the system is operated: fewer mistakes, an optimised examination workflow and tools that extend the operator's capabilities. Two of them — AgilExam and 3D Viewer — change day-to-day work at the console the most.

AgilExam
Faster and more accurate. AgilExam technology recognises the anatomy on the basis of the Scout acquisition and artificial intelligence algorithms, and adapts the settings to the purpose of the specific examination.
AgilExam makes it possible to:
- Shorten the time needed to prepare the examination.
- Set the position of the slices in a matter of seconds.
- Obtain consistent and repeatable examinations thanks to computer-assisted setting of slice orientation.
- Achieve optimal results regardless of the operator's experience.
- Shorten the time needed to learn how to operate the system.

3D Viewer
More accurate and more versatile. Working from a 3D data set, the 3D Viewer reconstructs images in any direction — in orthogonal and oblique planes, as well as in curved reconstructions, for example along the spine.
- Full 3D reconstruction enables interactive navigation within the data volume.
- Free choice of reconstruction parameters, such as the number of slices and their thickness.
- Real-time multiplanar reconstruction (MPR).
- The curved multiplanar reconstruction is matched to the anatomy being assessed.

IT security
Better. The EVO21' software includes extended information security mechanisms that protect the system and patient privacy:
- Antivirus — the operating system is equipped with antivirus software with a one-year licence, protecting against trojans, viruses and malware and allowing a USB key to be used.
- Encryption — “Encryption at rest”: the user can encrypt sensitive data stored on the hard drive, protecting it against unauthorised access from outside. “Encryption in transit”: sensitive data is encrypted while being transferred from the MRI system computer to PACS.
- Advanced anonymisation of patient data in line with the latest DICOM standards.
